He did say on a podcast this year he was looking to reduce his workload if it suited, maybe one less game on triple M.
Triple M sydney have a new afternoons announcer
Not Mart Sheargold at 3?
No just 12-3
Lachie Go-Pringle takes over Cat Lynch who has moved to breakfast anchor
Iâm curious whether Perth will keep its music format once the footy returns. Seems like by keeping Dave Gleeson and Luke Bona, they are still keeping the door ajar to return to the old format. When Melbourne and Sydney did music that rocks, that was scuttled by early March of the same year from memory
I certainly hope not. Returning to the old format would not help their ratings at all. The current format at least gives them a chance in the Perth market.
I agree. If they return to their previous format, theyâll essentially be 96FM 2.0.
Itâs better they stand for something different. Be persistent and keep getting the word out.
Triple M Bendigo breakfast co host of Cogho and Kylie (Kylie Stevenson) finishing this Friday as moving to QLD.
I heard this sweeper on Triple M Sydney yesterday, which will now probably be the last time we hear that until OctoberâŚ
âGood Times and Rockâs Greatest Hits - all weekendâ.
yep wish they would play more music less sport
Max Gawn was previously a weekly guest on Nova 100âs Chrissie, Sam and Browny during the AFL season.
Will his segment be just for AFL states only? Or if national, they should also have an NRL segment too.
Iâd say it would be AFL states only.
Flock of 80s Friday has been done away with⌠now replaced with âthe Awesome 80sâ.
Flock of 80âs as a tagline sounded good for a few weeks.
The premise is alright, but then they could also dig a bit deeper into the crates any other day of the week too, and not just for the 80âs. Then throw in some fresh new stuff (they were playing some belters on the Aussie show last night) and theyâd be a long way towards a really good, broad sounding rock station, without relying on the same tried and tested Queen and FF classics.
(I must admit overall they are sounding a lot better, at least here in Adelaide, since they expanded the playslist).
Iâve found the Gold Coast MMMâs version of Flock of Eighties when they reminisce about Gold FM and GOC history in general a great option for weekend listening.
Thatâs good they do that.
Triple M Melbourne also does similar EON FM throwbacks and references when they play an 80s song.
They should be doing the same with Triple M Brisbane with FM104. They have done in the past.
