I stand by my comment. The music director at MMM should be sacked if Hanson and the Macarena (I love that song BTW) is ever played on that station.

Interesting (perhaps wrong word, ahem) you should mention that band & song.
I thought the song (and band) was long lost & buried for good & then only last week, to the horror of my ears, I heard the song, not once but twice within the the space of a week, after decades of blissful absence - broadcast again on Sydney radio.
It was played at least twice on a Sydney FM community radio station. What drove them to do it? Of all the songs created & recorded on the planet since time began, why?
Then I asked myself later why did I do a search on Youtube for that band & song.
Now if you dare to watch I advise âNil By Mouthâ 10 hours before watching:

Seems like 2MMM hasnât had any local announcers on during the day over the past couple of weeks (Iâm assuming the others havenât either except Newcastle), the announcer in the afternoon mentions Sydneyâs triple m once an hour, presumably a local insert because I heard her on the central coast on the way home the other day.

Luke Bona is back on. Not on 929 yet tho. Not sure why but heâs on Regional WA Stations. Not sure if heâs doing from 10pm WA Time or if Perth is waiting another week to welcome the whole set together?
