Couldn’t find a place for Double J, but I was listening to BBC Radio 6 the other day and it’s exactly what Double J should sound like.

On the subject of BBC, Radio 1 is sounding polished and could easily be used to spruce up Triple J. I saw a post here some time ago suggesting it’s a possibility.

Yes I really think ABC Radio needs to take some inspiration from BBC.
R1, R2 and R6 are what the ABC should be providing. But they’re too dumb (or maybe arrogant) to see it.

Radio 2 would really go well on RNs old frequencies, after they combine RN and ABC News. I wish that would happen that would be ideal

I’d love to see a Radio 2 style service (ideally skewing a bit older than the current R2 over there) introduced by the ABC, especially in regional areas. There’s still plenty of appetite out there for hits from the 70s and 80s and this is something that is most regional areas is really hit and miss at the moment across the commercial radio market.

Yeah I must admit I stream Radio 2 most afternoons our time (which is Zoe Ball Breakfast on R2) and find it way more enjoyable than any ABC programming

Interesting, is this during the Sunshine Coast survey aka phone poll.

The Sunshine Coast survey is due for release on 20 August, so the event will not be very far off from its survey period.

What’s gonna happen after he leaves Double J? Maybe Veronica Milsom will host it?

‘Unearthed High’ sounds like the discovery of a new strain of marijuana. That may very well be intentional, though!
