The 7+ app is terribly designed imo. I agree with the article that trying to find what you want is tricky, since the app has the habit of displaying events that arenāt happening, something completely different or inaccurate information.
I quite liked the format of the Sochi 2014 app for 10. It was easy to find all events. 7+ is so cluttered. Better on a desktop than on the app in iPad.
Will 7 be cutting the live HD feed on main channel for the chase whilst we are watching a final where an Aussie is going for Gold?

I know Seven wants to promote The Chase but Iād rather them smash us with endless promos and have Olympics all day bar news and Sunrise than cutting coverage for a game show. Itās like cutting off coverage in the last 100m of the Melbourne Cup for The Bold and the Beautiful.

If 7 make us watch Jess Fox go for gold in standard definition I think thereās going to be a social media uproar. They got to make the right choice.

6pm News is one thing but cutting a live sports event to go to a game show isnāt a good look.
They didnāt cut to the chase but this is an ongoing issue. Promote the chase and launch after the games.

They must have thought about their strategy for times like these before the games began. Wonder what it is? Not too hard to put a message on the screen.

They could have at least done some Gold Coast updates in the ad break but instead are running promos for Brisbane at 6pm.

Even if the episode didnāt go to air tonight, I daresay itāll probably be run at some point in the future when Seven runs an all day sporting telecast until 5.30pm and has only a 30 minute gap to fill leading into the news!
Ironically the commentator of this canoeing event keeps saying the phrase āthe chaseā.
Not sure why Gold Coast News didnāt go ahead as there was no difference to the usual broadcast situation where it only airs on 7SD with 7HD showing the Brisbane feed.
No bulletins are being uploaded during the games for rights reasons.
