After the initial press release, Seven confirmed that 238.7 million minutes were streamed on 7plus on Saturday, comprising of 207.9 million live streamed minutes and 30.8 million video-on-demand minutes.
This would have included co-viewing I presume.
It is in effect for the Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth markets where all games the two local AFL teams play need to be shown on FTA live (6 games on delay for Adel/Perth).
It doesn’t apply to Melbourne where 10 teams are based.
I’m assuming Fevola is watching Ch7 via foxtel, which only has 7 and 7mate.

ffs. It’s people like this who stop progress. If we keep catering to the incompetent, we will never have all HD channels and will be stuck in the past.

Honestly 7+ is pretty great when it works. Lots of people complaining about UI and such, but hey I was watching the football last night and the skateboarding now with almost no ads and an international commentary team. No streaming issues and it was easy enough to find. I feel like the biggest problem comes from people just struggling to look through so many sports happening at once.

The streams themselves have been fine. The only issue I have had was on Saturday when the servers must have been overloaded and the pages took a long time to load. But other than that it’s run fine for me.

Yeah absolutely, I couldn’t get even the main channel on Saturday morning (don’t have an antenna). But to be fair this is probably one of the few times 7+ has been really stress tested and I haven’t had any problems since.
I’ve not had an issue. Last night I had 24 streams running fine on the same PC (I know it’s a PC compatibility thing, but there was no issue.)

I’ve been watching 7+ via Fetch and online with no problems
Same, my only problem is that my fetch box doesn’t like having so many live channels that it freezes, but it works fine on my TV’s 7Plus app.

They have cut it down to 30 minutes as well. All about giving it the best shot with all those eyeballs on Seven.

Correct it’s not even the full version. So what’s the point.
It’ll be on 7Two and 7Mate at 5:30 just like how it’s on 7 and 7Mate right now. No difference. It really isn’t a big deal.
