Love Effie and her energy, gives us the basics in simple terms and she knows her stuff.
She can go off script a bit also and isn’t simply reading a script like many other finance reporters do.

Just putting it out there, I wouldn’t mind seeing her as a fill-in, maybe over summer, alongside perhaps David Campbell, Tim or Alex. She does seem to have the right personality for breakfast TV.
I know it’s very out there, but we did see Dr. Nick Coatsworth last summer.

Not on Today it isn’t. Weather scripts are always read live, and usually require some choreography as the presenter generally repositions during the maps, or brings in a guest.
