With Sherri-Lee heavily pregnant, it will be interesting to see who fills in on weather this summer. I’ve always loved her filling in. She will be missed this year.

I dont think it counts, being a weather slash roving reporter on today or sunrise as its more about how viewers respond to the person in front of them not their journalistic chops

There are plenty of presenters and reporters on air who haven’t studied journalism.

I think Scherri-Lee Biggs might be one of them? From what I know, she began her media career as a roving reporter on Seven’s Australian Open coverage in 2013, before moving west to present the weather on Nine News Perth the following year.
I also don’t think Bec Judd studied journalism either, though I could be wrong.

I’m fairly certain Lauren’s media career is just about over from Friday.
She did a good job as Weather Presenter back in the day though, however.
