Maybe they could drop the Sydney skyline backdrop used throughout the show as well?
It’s amazing the old cloud graphic with the blue bars/bottom third of Karl and Lisa/Georgie looks so fresher than the current presentation mess.

Are we talking about the 2013-16 cloud graphics or the 2016-19 one?
Personally preferred the one launched in November 2013. They need a simplistic yet warm graphics package. I haven’t liked any of the packages since the 2014-16 one. The 2016-19 block ones were horrendous then the 19-20 square ones were such a mishmash then there was the circle ones but still were blocks in there… too confusing.
Either integrate some of the graphics with 9News or have a unique yet simplistic warm look.

Yeah I definitely remember Karl and Ally being down in 2020, Richard and Bec were down there too doing Weekend Today

I have quite enjoyed that backdrop over the last 2 1/2 years.
The blue skyline colour has looked really nice on the big news screen behind them at the desk.
I guess I wouldn’t be surprised if it got changed come Monday.
Also will be interesting to see if they change the graphics too.

Can see a two-way box screen graphic on the far right too. Doesn’t look to be any changes from the one at the moment, aside from the AO background.
