Given that it is a catch up from during the week, that first cap must’ve been from the start of the week before they updated the live cross graphics.
Can’t speak in regard to the background behind the Nine logo and Today Extra logo however

Oh, yes, I can see it now, I didn’t notice their clothes changed.
Mesmerised by the graphics.
Prue McSween noticeably missing from the “Today’s Take” segment this morning - of which she usually features in every Friday. Jamila Rizvi, from Nine’s Future Women, replaced her - joined by Ben Fordham.
Incase you missed it Prue, along with Sam Armytage, is being sued for comments made a couple of years ago on Sunrise.
Most likely Nine didn’t want two right wing commentators on the same panel at the same time.
Her views, especially on the Stolen Generations are pretty awful so not a massive loss to Today (and Sunrise for that matter) if she left forever.
Was that just for one story or it’s been changed permanently?
It was there permanently
SO much better! Only thing that’s missing is the “Extra” aspect of the logo…
I don’t think they need that, for consistency it’s better if they just brand it “Today News”
That looks really good.
Much better.
But gee the lighting on that set is awful, poor Davina looks so pale compared to on the Sydney news.
Maybe it was an unintentional technical error?
I can think of much dumber - how about on the presenter’s forehead.
