I would say because Richard appears in way more stories than Sylvia as he was there all year.
Probably because Richard is under contract to Today/Today Extra, so they can use him whenever possible.
They may not have even signed up Sylvia Jeffreys yet for next year, when they started filming these.
people still watch highlights shows these days? Why not watch new content like Studio 10, and then once the new Today Extra starts airing, then watch that?

Whereas, TMS was on an advertorial and Studio 10 were talking about the SuperBowl.
