I wouldn’t have said she was very emotional about leaving, though she handled the announcement quite well.
Strange it took so long for it to be announced, given it’s been fairly common public knowledge for a while now and could’ve been put to bed earlier.
Nice that they allowed her to have a send off tomorrow though, the same can’t be said for a lot of their other presenters, whether they’ve wanted it or not is a different story.

Even though he has been good on weekends, I’d be getting him back full time on Extra next year to build the chemistry for the new relationship.

If they are willing to host a farewell show, they would be willing to show highlights of the show with her in it. I doubt they would want to erase her from the show’s history. Plus, they wouldn’t go live over summer just because of this.
“Time to do something new” - ie a show that you already hosted for three seasons years ago?

@Syd_TVChannel considering the way her departure is being handled on air l don’t believe Nine would have a problem featuring her on the summer series and she won’t be appearing on another network at the same time.

And not really a gain for seven. She is not likeable or really talented at all. Offers nothing.

Although they’ve never really been competitive with The Morning Show, Sonia and David has stablished the 9am timeslot and filled it with great chemistry and fun.
