I am a bit surprised that Sonia is signing a new contract for Seven, considering she is doing quite well on Nine at the moment with Today Extra and The Voice.

Iām surprised that cash strapped 7 would be interested in another expensive overhead when they already have so much female talentā¦seems a little overcrowded now.
For that money, its got to be more than Big Brother.
I think this supports the idea for the rumored new Midday Show on Seven.

Tim Blackwell reported on Novaās Kate, Tim and Marty that word at Ch9 is that Sonia did her last show today because they wonāt let her back on air after signing with Ch7.

I reckon David and Dickie will host tomorrow, so they can say thank you and goodbye to Sonia on-air together, as both her co-hosts, like what happened when Lisa left.
At worse, David will appear in a pre-recorded message. At the end of the day, she was his co-host for 8 years.
I agree in that Brooke will probably be the temporary replacement.

According to Peter Ford, Sonia Kruger has turned up for work at Nine this morning and will be seen on air hosting Today Extra until the end of next week.
