Today (and Sunrise) promoting Richard Marles very early in the show. Unlike Sunrise, Today didn’t have a reporter in Las Vegas yet.

Stefanovic doing Sport headlines this morning.
Always preferred Today over Sunrise, and really didn’t mind Sarah when she first started as co-host, but recently I’ve not warmed to her as much.
I know it’s brekky tv so it’s lighter in tone and Karl is quite the larrikin, but she almost seems to be compensating by matching his vibe and dumbing herself down a little - it doesn’t come off as natural or likable.
She also seems to have this real sense of arrogance during interviews etc, she should absolutely challenge and hold politicians to account when they’re spinning stuff on the show, but it comes off very abrupt.
It’s the same with Nat Barr and her interviewing, which is why I can’t really watch the weekday show.

Reports in The Daily Telegraph that an announcement on a permanent sports presenter is imminent - as early as this week perhaps.

If it is Roz, then Danika can easily take her slot presenting sport on Nine News Sydney on Friday and Saturday nights.
This would also give the Today show a significant point of difference against Beretts who has been presenting sport on Sunrise for more than two decades now.
