I’d reckon DC and Sylvia will host the show next Monday.
It’s an interesting thought. I’m wondering if the show will even go ahead on Monday. It’s scheduled for 7:15am and assuming the closing ceremony goes heavily overtime like the opening ceremony then they might just go straight to Today Extra.
Ah okay
I hope there’s new graphics relaunch next week please ![]()
I am hoping they re jig some of the graphics pakage and use it for Today. These graphics are fresh compared to the stale ones they have currently.
I would also like to see the soft set used for Today given a complete overhaul. That set is just badly angled / designed, and nothing seems to gel or fit the set up imo.
That desk really should be a lot higher.
It really doesn’t proportionally look right, does it.
There were probably considerations about that to do with the height of the window behind them and obstructing any view of the Eiffel Tower etc.
Shows how important set planning is.
Karl and Sarah just confirmed they’ll be back in Sydney on Monday morning.
I wonder what that means for the weekend?
Normal Weekend Today back??
Er newsreader coughs on air?
Riveting story team!
Maybe Clint, Alex and/or Brooke will do Today in Paris over the weekend.
Wonder if Brooke is coming back to Sydney for a farewell before leaving the show, or if she is going to London straight after the Olympics, and Jayne will be with the team on the desk from Monday.
I assumed Karl would do the Closing Ceremony telecast again, perhaps not. Maybe Sarah with Woodbridge and Bracey (instead of Ally) this time?
Sarah is flying home today too.
My guess would be Woodbridge, Bracey, and probably either Lelia or Roz Kelly.
Saturday:
Todd Woodbridge and Alicia Loxley hosting.
Woodbridge and Loxley are hosting today with Sophie Walsh on the news headlines
Todd called the beach volleyball and then had to race back to the studio to host Today in Paris with the show starting at 6:45am
Could be wrong, but that beach volleyball commentary position, looks like where they called the Opening Ceremony from, going off that photo in the rain of Todd, Ally and Karl?
Todd called it the Eiffel Tower Stadium.
It truly is an amazing location
