A bit late on this one. But regarding this, I wholeheartedly agree that as much as it was satisfying to see this karen woman grilled, it is also an overly obvious attempt at getting headlines. Sunrise is still guilty of this and Today is going down that same path.
One thing I don’t get is Sunrise pretty much gets hammered when they do this yet Today gets commended by so many (who’s critical of Sunrise for doing the same) when they do something similar. Go figure.
I’m of the belief that if one network’s decision to do something that is morally corrupt gets a barrage of criticism, then others who do the same should cop the same treatment.

Yes but it’s pretty obvious that many are fanboying Today over Sunrise. This is evident judging by the reaction of many when something controversial happens on Sunrise and they chomp them down whilst Today gets a pat on the back for doing the same.
My point was if Sunrise is going to get criticised for having the likes of Pauline Hanson/Insert any controversial person onboard to create controversies, then Today should very much cop the same. Conversely, if Today gets praised for shutting down an interview by some Karen, then when Sunrise does the same they should also be praised.

Interesting that there was a clip played from her brief time on Sunrise but there were only publicity shots used from across her 10 years on Today. Channel 9 wouldn’t supply any vision?
On a side note, it was a great interview, capturing many things I love about Lisa.

According to Nine:
Today received its second highest ratings of the year (metro average audience).
I don’t understand as there have been multiple times the ratings have been higher. Not sure what I am missing. Monday’s ratings were higher, and last week’s average across the week was higher.

Also worth noting that Today won again in Brisbane. Melbourne was a tie (Today was a couple of hundred ahead) between Sunrise and Today - so perhaps some of those bumper news numbers are starting to tune in for breakfast. However, ABC Breakfast beat both commercial shows in Melbourne after also winning in Monday.

Wow those are not the ratings I thought the show was getting. Slight win in Melbourne and winning Brisbane. How far behind in Sydney I wonder.
@TV.Cynic says they won by a couple of hundred, which is what they would be basing that claim on rather than the tie which it was rounded to for the official ratings report.

ABC Breakfast had the highest audience in Melbourne - combined number from ABC and 24. Nine tend to not acknowledge this way of accounting
