Also I know this is satire but now thereās a bit of truth in everything.
Imagine if they got Cass, it would be a huge FU to Karl and women would be cheering over it thinking they all collectively won for all ex wives whoās husbands leave them for a younger woman. Well the media would make them think like thatā¦ I donāt think the every day woman gives a stuff.

They took David Knoxās Big Brother Revival April Fools joke as factual News and ācontacted Network Ten for commentā, so Iām not surprised by them. 
Chris Reason would have been a good get for Today if he was available.

I did take that into consideration, probably shouldāve mentioned it in my original post though!
Being able to actually conduct an interview without constantly interrupting guests with your own agenda is a prerequisite for the job. MacDonald has yet to master the skill.

Ten had 3 presenters for their failed 2nd morning show āWake Upā with Natarsha Belling, Natasha Exelby and James Mathieson but Exelby left the show prior to its axing.

Maybe if they want to focus on serious news again and want a big shake up, they should consider breaking the show up. This might avoid the feeling of repetition as well.
Example:
6-7 Early News
7-9 Today
9-11 Today Extra (Iād rename this portion)
11-12 Morning News

Deb Knight is just amazing. Watching Today in the background today and she is a total natural. I used to like Georgie quite alot but her on screen chemistry since returning hasnāt been thereā¦ maybe she is better left as a newsreader rather than host.

Iāve always felt Georgie was better as a newsreader rather than hostā¦ it was evident way back when they expanded Sunrise and she was solo host. She struggled in the longer, less formal interviews.

Maybe just rename Today Extra as āExtraā or ā9 Extra / 9News Extra or something, to move away from the Today brand.
Yep. Whilst Iām sure she will stick as a host I donāt think she is suited to it. Donāt get me wrong I like her and I think sheād be really valuable on Today but maybe give her Sylviaās role, she performed that way better back when she was doing it a few years ago, good interaction with the hosts but not having to hold the show up.
