Agree, I think I’d rather be in the audience than be a contestant anyway.

(Off-topic slightly) I’ve been to two recordings of auditions for The X Factor (2016) and The Voice (2017), and on each occasion I ended up seeing the eventual winner of those respective shows.

That bit about the audience must be “over 15 years old” and those “between 16 and 18” must be accompanied seems badly worded. So 15 year olds can be unattended?
Maybe it’s an Aussie v UK thing but here “Over 15” in the context of age would mean anyone 15 and over. If you’re 15 years and one day old you are “over 15 years old”.

I think their wording is if you’re 15 years and 360 days old, you’re still 15 ie not yet 16. But i can see where you are coming from.

Is the view of the counters hard to see from the audience? As I see from the episodes the angle where the crowd sits, it’s hard to see the counters properly
