Yeah I caught some of their show today on Facebook and in about 30 mins or show it fluctuated between 4-9 people watching live, not many watching there in the scheme of things.
I’d say it’s probably on at the wrong time, later in the afternoon or early evening would be better when social media usage is gaining traction or heading towards its peak when people are logging on after work etc.
I just don’t see the audience for this, I know it’s early days, but surely more of a full on lifestyle website would be more of a success with articles, short videos, podcasts etc for young professionals rather than a live stream.
No rehearsals, now we see the problem. Also, as has been mentioned numerous times - a complete lack of social distancing, which can be legally enforced.
well yes . but its like all off a suddent people want to attack a person they dont even know . and who in my opinion is a great host. maybe people should email ticker and thell them personally?
Maybe they can be thankful that a handful of Mediaspy enthusiasts were watching to give some constructive criticism, as very few other people were watching.
Yeah, we all supported @Leo_Puglisi6 ‘s rise to fame because he is one of us (and did a great job). It is great that Rob gave him the opportunity to do that.
But that shouldn’t influence your perception of a show- if it isn’t good, it’s not. I don’t think anyone (at least most) on this forum deliberately criticise a show for the sake of it. We are just providing feedback, that can be implemented, to make it better. If you like the breakfast show, that’s great. My stance is- and has always been- that there are always ways for improvement.
Attacking and criticising or critiquing are two very different things.
There are A LOT of flaws in jumpstart, and with the “EP” tweeting today that they had no rehearsals it confirms ALL of our analysis.
The biggest sticks for me is that there is no social distancing - when the media should be practicing what they preach - there is no chemistry in the presenters and the quality is amateurish at best.
Well you wonder about the WHS protocols at ticker regarding all of this. I know the media have been working through this pandemic but there should be social distancing protocols applied in all sectors. As many offices return here in Sydney there are many things being implemented for employees to social distance as much as possible.
Maybe not just love viewers but all the different posts etc etc. there must be some source of revenue somewhere to pay all these people.
It’s an excellent initiative and they’re doing really well as a start up and it can only get better and better. In saying all that they don’t get a free pass when they have that horrible program jump start. As other have indicated god knows what rock that Ben crawled out of. Not really host material.
As I posted earlier in the week, I don’t know how they can get away claiming the following statement on their website. If I was an advertiser I’d be wanting my money back…
Ticker content reaches over 3 million Australians per month, across the website, app, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and LinkedIn.
ok you guys have given an aha moment .i have been very one sided. since i watch the ben rob and robbo show i have only ever seen ben cohosting that show.so im guessing till now i was very one sided. so from now i wil go with the theory there are two sides to everything . and can see your guys points and opinions . and i must admit till now i didnt even know what crititquing was till now . so i have learnt something. so from now on i will be more openminded
