Yep, he’s filed the odd report. It was amusing to see Laura interview Heather Keats (now in her MetService role) last week too.
@sj2450 Stuff’s main headquarters is in Wellington but the company, which produces ThreeNews for Warner Bros. Discovery NZ, has newsrooms stationed across the country (including Auckland and Christchurch, though ThreeNews itself is based in Auckland).
Oh cheers. I knew ThreeNews was based in Auckland, so i just assumed Stuff was as well .

Trade Me is set to take a 50% stake in Stuff Digital, the two companies have jointly announced on Tuesday morning.
The deal will bring together New Zealand’s largest news website and online classifieds businesses.
Stuff Digital will remain a standalone company with news, but tied in with property and automotive listings, geared to compete with NZME and its property business OneRoof, as well as a new tie up with Australian classifieds business Gumtree.
Stuff Digital is the digital arm of the Stuff Group. It publishes the website stuff.co.nz and ThreeNews. The deal excludes Neighbourly, Stuff Events and the group’s Masthead Publishing business.
Wonder if Trade Me will really be that eager to continue with producing a TV bulletin after the contracts up.
Hey, maybe they can fill the second half of the bulletin with advertorials might even become profitable.

TRADEME’S KEV THE KIWI TO REPLACE SAMANTHA HAYES AS HOST OF THREE NEWS’ 6PM BULLETIN - Stuff & TradeMe jointly announce.
Friday 6 June: Mitch Redmen reading sport (for the first time?)
Believe he’s only recently started
He was reporting for 10 a month or so ago so probably.
For 10?
He was at Newstalk ZB until recently
Apologies, i was thinking of Leighton Heikell.
Was going to say, thought he went onto the Hosking show after Newshub wound up.
Was reading sports last night as well.
And tomorrow he said.
Also some issues at the end of the bulletin including cutting the weather short, timing issues in the closer and the closer music not playing
And it appeared that the VR Set was replaced with a still image of the set after the weather? Looked like the photo was taken prior to the move from the old Newshub building.
Saturday gremlins?
Nice to see them send Laura to Motueka/Nelson Thursday and Friday for a few live crosses.
Looks like they brought back the “Your Say” poll segment… kinda?
The question was “Should Lorde visit Wellington on tour?” with the link to “stuff.co.nz/yoursay” however, it takes you to an article that was last updated on Nov 29, 2024.
Looking around the website, i couldn’t find anything with the question.
