I think 9’s final season during covid was pre recorded too

Looks like the video message was recorded at The Voice grand final yesterday. Ronan Keating then flew to Melbourne this morning.

I will have to wait until October to find out if my guess is true.

The Australian’s Media Diary is reporting that this season of The Voice will feature a surprise “secret mentor” this season, with Tones and I returning to the show for the first time since 2019. She had already been busy offering a string of near-miss contestants a vital second chance in the comp as part of a rejects round.

2023 winner Tarryn Stokes has given an interview to former TVNZ Breakfast presenter Petra Bagust, as part of the latter’s Grey Areas podcast.

A new promo during Farmer. It had the announcement of Tones & I joining the judges. So does that mean there will be judges, I didn’t see an extra chair so it’s a bit confusing.

The promo had her pressing the button and in the chair but I don’t think there was any footage of her in the chairs with the other judges or turning for an audition etc

Perhaps Tones and I will be a fill-in host at some stage, instead of a permanent one? I am assuming.

Don’t they always have guest mentors.

Tones and I joining The Voice was promoted as “the biggest shake up in Voice history” on Sunrise this morning. Seems like a big exaggeration :man_shrugging:
