A shame that most Finals these days on most reality shows are pre recorded.
The Voice final has not been live since Seven grabbed the rights.

I think 9’s final season during covid was pre recorded too
Looks like the video message was recorded at The Voice grand final yesterday. Ronan Keating then flew to Melbourne this morning.
I will have to wait until October to find out if my guess is true.
The Australian’s Media Diary is reporting that this season of The Voice will feature a surprise “secret mentor” this season, with Tones and I returning to the show for the first time since 2019. She had already been busy offering a string of near-miss contestants a vital second chance in the comp as part of a rejects round.
2023 winner Tarryn Stokes has given an interview to former TVNZ Breakfast presenter Petra Bagust, as part of the latter’s Grey Areas podcast.
