That kinda links up well because Marge and Homer were in high school in the 70’s.

You just have to ignore that he is 39.

Except when he was 34 in the early episodes, 36 in season four, 38 and 39 in season eight, and 40 in the eighteenth season. :stuck_out_tongue:

Mr. Burns went from being 84 to getting bumped up to 104.

Ned has been in his 60s and 40s

If Mr Burns was 104 he would have been retiring instead of running the nuclear power plant. 84 sounds more like it.

this is burns we’re talking about, though. i don’t think he would step down that easily

Yeah. Look st Rupert Murdoch. He’s about 104 and still in control. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

One of it’s most popular episodes? that’s a big stretch and there have been people that have pointed out where that scene is from before.

Nah, they have just been looking at https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSimpsons/

And the age thing they reference in the article:

Starting on May 28, episodes will be watchable in the original 4:3 aspect ratio so that visual jokes no longer get cut off by the widescreen format.

Oh come on. I’m through to season 11 since Disney+ launched wishing the whole time that they were available in 4:3 (especially on my iPad which is 4:3 anyway!).

Wonder if 20C Fox (or Disney or whoever runs the international TV division now) will or can provide these original aspect copies to broadcasters (i.e.) Seven?

It’s the 2020 for christ sake, it should be in widescreen. I prefer the 16:9 version anyway for my tv. As long as they have both options. I don’t care. But if they take away the 16:9 I’ll be annoyed. I’m up to season 7 in the widescreen version and I am used to it.
