The Secret Daughter

The Secret Daughter now starts at 9:30 on Melbourne Cup Tuesday after The Good Doctor; following the latter’s huge success in the ratings last night.

Seriously!?

They just killed the show. Why not give The Secret Daughter the same great chance of success in that timeslot. If it doesn’t deliver then move it. What happens when they run out of new episodes of The Good Doctor? It’ll have to take a break. Both shows will suffer.

Wow.

If the Secret Daughter has to be bumped, they could at least find a 7.30 slot for it.

As a fan of the show I am really disappointed at the late start.

Is there something Seven knows that we don’t?

It must be that bad?

But last season was great.

Secret Daughter rescheduled to Wednesday at 8:45pm

Good decision!! Now Seven are talking some sense!! But trying to keep up with these constant scheduling changes though :anguished:

That’s better but it’s now going up against Sisters.

I would have chosen the old Monday slot for the show following The Wall, which is now known to be a somewhat hit. But that would have caused Liar grief although that one could be in trouble next week too and may need to go to 9.30pm.

It’s like dominoes, at the moment. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Why does Liar need to be moved? That’s doing well I thought and only has like 6 episodes so I think Seven would be stupid to stuff around the scheduling of yet another drama.

I’m not saying Liar should be moved now, unless it does really badly next week.

I’m saying that would have been a much better timeslot for Seven to choose because it had a strong lead-in, it was the slot it occupied last year and there are no other Aussie dramas or comedies against it.

Sisters barely rates above Peppa Pig

But there would still be viewers who would want to watch both because they’re mostly targeted at the same female skewing audience.

True. Seven should consider that people may want to watch a show on another network at ~8.30 on a Wednesday.

^ That must be shortened version of the Max special which aired a couple of months ago, and is out now on DVD and Blu-Ray.
