Still really not good enough. Perhaps from both sides. Its this stuff that lets the Oz versions of these shows down, and costs their credibility compared to the overseas versions.

It felt tacky that they tried to put it to her that a flight back was offered, but economy wasn’t good enough, to shame her into admitting it wasn’t good enough.
And she clearly knows she’s got an image problem with not showing up which is why she got on the defense early with posting email screenshots etc.
IF the show comes back for S04, high chance she won’t be around.

The reunion was good. Much better than last seasons.
I think overall Carolyn came off looking the worst. She can never accept accountability for anything. She wouldn’t even properly acknowledge all the things she had said incorrectly about Jackie with that healing session (and what happened afterwards), even after Jackie explained everything. The end bit with the bathroom scene was a bit odd but it kind of starts to make sense why some of the others see her as fake, she probably constantly has her manager there feeding her lines or guiding how she responds in certain situations. Sally wasn’t as vocal about it but you could tell she was pretty fed up with Carolyn’s antics too.
Nicole’s reasonings never really makes sense. She said she offered to fly back for it but would not take an economy flight. Then later on she said there really wasn’t enough time to fly back anyway taking into account travel time, jet lag etc. So which one is it? There are always inconsistencies. I just think even if it was a genuine scheduling issue on Binge’s end, Nicole just doesn’t look good given how little she turned up for this season. At the end of the day even from her screenshots, she had months of notice so maybe shouldn’t have done this season in the first place.
Definitely she should never be asked back. Caroline either. Both have conditions on who they will turn up for, so if you aren’t going to participate then don’t do it at all.

Oh I hope this is true. I thought it might be the end of Housewives in Aus after the recent Sydney season (with the DAZN takeover) so I will take this.
I’d love to see some Melbourne Housewives again! Maybe putting Jackie and Carolyn on the trip will be funny.

Terry and Jackie Gillies can share a room, I’m convinced they’re friends. 
Production should have got someone else to handle the so called healing session to stop this from being suggested. Always been a Jackie fan but didn’t like how she involved herself in this by taking sides. Have a look how she looked at Carolyn as she entered the Re-union! I didn’t like how she watched a live showing of the episode of the “healing” with Gamble, Kate, Terry and Martine. Surely that’s the proof of the collusion between Jackie and Terry! Carolyn’s getting Jackie’s name wrong was only her way of getting back at her and she didn’t do it very well. IMO they’re mostly all a bunch of immature wealthy ladies except for Krissie and Sally I’m not a fan of any of them. Terry and Kate are disgusting human beings.
Jackie would have almost certainly been contacted by Production to take part in the show (not Terry), given that she been part of the franchise previously.
Also Jackie wasn’t taking a side, she was simply defending herself and correcting the false things being said about her.
How does that prove anything about their relationship prior to the healing? The “live” came long after last years filming of the show. According to Nicole’s posts, the reunion was filmed late October which is a good 6 months before this “live”. If they’ve met on the show and become friends, good for them. But it is also not surprising that Jackie is milking every bit of her appearance.

BIVIANO NEXT BIG MOVE?
In the midst of the emotional turmoil and high drama that engulfed – and for a while threatened to capsize – the latest series of Real Housewives of Sydney, came a whisper Terry Biviano had struck upon an idea.
Sources close to the Real Housewives of Sydney (RHOS) production have told this column that as Rome was burning around Biviano on the set of the reality show the one-time “It” girl Biviano was hatching a plan to pitch a programming idea to the program’s broadcaster, Foxtel.
The concept, or so we heard, would see the Sydney WAG star in a reality show alongside some of her “friends”.
By “friends” our insiders believed Biviano meant members of the Housewives’ cast with whom she’s still on speaking terms.
That doesn’t need to be a show of it’s own - that could easily be how another RHOS turns out. I don’t think many would miss the exclusion of the likes of Nicole, Caroline or Victoria from next season and I doubt any would miss them either. I would keep Krissy in the mix still though, not my personal fave but she’s good value.
No announcement of UGT or Sydney tonight.

There are a few whispers about a potential Real Housewives of Melbourne return. Are there any legs to this rumour? When I goggle search most mentions of it are mostly behind paywalls but this article today does say “the return of its Melbourne counterpart continues to firm.”
There is every other month. Mostly stan twitter trolling.
According to News Corp’s Annette Sharp, Matchbox Pictures’ closure announcement on Tuesday came the day after Foxtel commissioned a new season of the Real Housewives of Melbourne, which is produced by Matchbox.
There’s no word yet on who may star in the rebooted Housewives series but word is the production company is keen to bring back some old favourites (possibly Gina Liano and Jackie Gillies, both said to be keen to return) and introduce new talent.

I have noticed Gina has started stepping back into a few more public things, doing a few random TV interviews and starting to host these “breakfast with Gina”. It would be amazing if it came back and with Gina. The only way I can see a new Melb version working is that some of the core originals are involved.

There are some strong casting options already with a few known names with genuine connections, that have not previously delved into the housewives/reality genre.
I would expect 3-4 returnees with a few more attending events on a recurring (possible FOH) basis.
Hopefully there will be some NBCU involvement, likely a Hayu connection, with a formal announcement at Hayu Fan Fest later this year.

I would be very happy they could get 3 of the originals from Jackie, Gina, Lydia, Chyka and Janet. You could then mix in 1-2 from the other seasons (I’d go Simone or Pettifleur, please not Gamble!) and a couple of newbies. That sounds like the right balance.

I honestly don’t believe they would have greenlit a Melbourne season again without Gina. Her absence in the final season (and Lydia to an extent) is a big factor as to why it failed.
