She’s a fake. I mean, I’d argue most of them are, but there’s something extra fake about Anjali. This show has done her no favours at all. A colossal mistake on her behalf for doing it.
Agree it hasn’t done her any favours, and I haven’t even watched the show, but renting houses for filming purposes or other things isn’t not uncommon and not really a reflection on Anjali IMO.
Yeah same. The reunion is one of the best episodes of the season. Especially this season with so much conflict it would have been good to let them all be held accountable and set the record straight. I’ve seen comments on social media that the drama continued post filming.
Also Cherry and Gamble are supposedly good friends now - gamble has made a few comments and did an ‘I love you blunty’ post regarding Cherry on Instagram last night. I’d be interested to see how that turned around.
Melbourne was just cheap and nasty this year. After waiting so long we were all really let down by a season of nothingness.
Who actually cares about the arguments they were having - they were all so trivial.
Janet and Kyla fought over whether Kyla went to Paris.
Anjali left because Janet was opening drawers at the communal pool.
Gamble had to create drama with a couple of text wars.
And then the last episode was all about janet’s ‘fat arm’.
Is it any wonder there’s no reunion? There was barely a season of content to talk about.
Compare it to other franchises, this year’s was just tacky. Salt Lake City is the housewives masterclass at the moment - the Melbourne ladies all need go on an intensive training course at Mary’s SLC Pentecostal church before signing up for next season.
TBI reports the first two seasons of The Real Housewives of Melbourne will stream on Discovery+ in the US, as part of a wider licensing deal between Discovery Inc. and NBCUniversal Global Distribution.
Fiona Byrne reports in the Sunday Herald Sun that well placed sources say The Real Housewives of Melbourne is unlikely to return for a new season on Foxtel.
According to Sunday Herald Sun’s Fiona Byrne, casting agents have been sounding out potential housewives in Sydney and are also looking around on the Gold Coast. The Real Housewives of Sydney only lasted one season.
The Sunday Telegraph’s Briana Domjen adds that Krissie Marsh and Nicole Gazal O’Neil, who were part of the first season of Real Housewives of Sydney, will make a return and that some newbies will take to the screen. Apparently Roxy Jacenko, former banker Vanessa Fennell, stylist Eleni Taylor and Linda Rogan – who runs Laser Clinics Australia in Double Bay – have also been approached.
Annette Sharp writes in The Sunday Telegraph today that screentesting is under way for a second season of The Real Housewives of Sydney. It will feature seven ladies and the producers looked to have signed off on the return of Nicole Gazal O’Neil and Krissy Marsh. Sharp writes that the likes of former Seven presenter and author Sally Obermeder, social commentator Melissa Hoyer, former rugby league WAG Terry Biviano, lifestyle consultant Victoria Montano, and fashion designer Charlie Brown had all auditioned.
