The Project 🪦

Ten’s basically on auto pilot now on Fridays and Saturdays just to keep the lights on, I can’t see them putting $$$ into a new/revived show.

That’s why either risking bringing back The Project or that’s it

there are other nights of the week

But I think Fri-Sat are the best options. Leave 10News+ to Sun-Thurs.

Who says it will air in the 6:30 slot or earlier. There is a lot of timeslots throughout the week.

I didn’t say time only the days

Maybe as an early Sunday evening program? News at 5, Weekly Project at 6?

Could pad it out to 90 minutes with a musical performance and multiple guests and turn it into a mix of the regular Project and a quasi-Rove Live. And then pump the thing full of plugs for 10 News +.

My thoughts exactly. Sunday is the biggest night and The Sunday Project rated leaps and bounds ahead of whatever pithy ratings 10 News+ is doing on Sunday. Imagine how big Big Brother would’ve rated yesterday if it had half a decent lead-in?

You guys are getting way too ahead of yourselves.

10 needs a LIVE, celebrity interviews type of show

Once a week only - 1 hour. Start it in winter when viewing figures higher. 7pm Sundays.

Mark my words, the Project will soft launch (maybe weekly) by this time next year, and be back in full force 5 nights a week by the end of the decade.

My words of advice for a return of The Project - Let it go

That would be advice for the floptastic 10 News+.

I personally think Studio 10 has more chance of coming back (possibly in a mid to late afternoon slot) because given the cost cutting measures at present, I cannot see 10 wanting to sign another expensive deal with Rove McManus right now.

I think you’re dreaming if you think 10 will spend money on a show in the afternoon for potentially very few viewers.

They need to find a better show for 6pm that doesn’t cost as much as The Project.

Bruce Lehrmann has lost his appeal against a Federal Court ruling that found on the balance of probabilities he had raped Brittany Higgins in 2019.

The former Liberal staffer took Network Ten and journalist Lisa Wilkinson to court over an episode of The Project in which Brittany Higgins said she was raped in Parliament House, although she did not name the man she accused.
