I think this would be a good idea as a once a week show. I always thought that it would work that way with a more entertainment/pop culture focus, although it would have to be a point of difference to Sam Pang tonight which seems to be getting a lot of the bigger star interviews. I also am not sure where it would fit in the schedule, probably a Sunday night edition would make the most sense but that was generally one of it’s lower rating nights. Maybe being there once a week might lure some more viewers.

I mean it’s not exactly a “shock update”, the social media account has been active the whole time since the show ended. It was really just a matter of time before they upped their game a bit.

The “Shock Update” in the headline is purely there for the clickbait effect. Everyone else that follows The Project’s social media pages have known it’s been active since the shows axing a few months ago.
I wouldn’t mind a weekly Project. First half of the show could be news of the day(s) and proper panel discussion. Second half of the show could be interviews with the likes of politicians, sports stars, celebrities etc. And in person on the desk and rarely by satellite. Different to HYBPA, The Cheap Seats and Sam Pang Tonight.

Which day then. Wednesdays 6.30pm
Maybe Fridays at 6.30pm? Instead of airing repeats of Deal or No Deal and Millionaire Hot Seat?
