Agree. A lot of people donāt understand or see this. I would say there is about a team of 40 people about to be made redundant. Itāll be a sad day for ATV10 as it will be loosing a production to Sydney.
Itās a massive portion of ATV too. They have an entire floor dedicated to production staff.
This news is not unsurprising though. 10 definitely needs to switch things up. Am interested to see how theyāll fill all these empty timeslots. 12 hours of airtime (including the repeat) to 2 hours is a massive gap that needs to be filled.
Lets hope another production can be launched.
I think this program will also be repeated late at night so it could be four hours.
I reckon Sarahās pretty safe at 10, irrespective of what happens with The Project.
Agree. I think Sarah will be safe.
She could go back to doing some news reading. But I can also see Seven and Nine swooping in.
The show is just woke far left leaning nonsense. They try and push and agenda and force it on the audience by asking carefully scripted questions that Walled pushes. I stoped watching well 15 years ago.
They pushed an agenda during the pandemic also. Disgraceful production.
What does this mean? Are you able to clarify the definition.
How are you aware of any of this if you stopped watching 15 years ago?
I agree - can she her in the interim taking over Angela Bishopās role of reading the afternoon news while Narelda is still on extended leave (allowing Angela to focus on entertainment).
I have watched Waleedās interviews many times over the the years, and he always - ALWAYS - endeavours to be devilās advocate with all subjects, asking questions from every angle. He is one of the fairest and most truth seeking interviewers in the media today.
I agree that those who surround him are often insufferably far left. Thank god for Steve Price.
But donāt target Waleed. He is not the problem. It just makes you look a tiny bit racist.
Be great if they could just keep
The Sunday night version to keep the show alive.
Also feel sorry for the people who work there. Thereās a bit team who would be quite worried right now.
Or maybe even a new Sunday week in review type show to keep some of the staff that worked on The Project.
With all this speculation, I wonder if it will be addressed on the show tonight by the almighty Rove. Or brushed under the carpet until an official statement by 10.
Exactly. He is far from the lefty pin-up boy that certain sections will try to portray him as.
Waleed wasnāt hosting the show 15 years ago so this doesnāt add up.
Given you stopped watching 10 years before the pandemic Iām genuinely curious what was this agenda they pushed?
This is getting beyond a joke now spell Waleed correctly.
Oh for gods sake ā¦
I was wondering when youād pop up with the so called āwokeā stuff.
Didnāt take long ![]()
The word has lost all meaning now because it gets thrown up as an insult bearing no resemblance to what it actually used to mean
Itās more woke opportunism. They have not probed issues and are notorious to taking a one sided approach, and wrapping up the show essentially forcing an opinion down our screens. Pandemic, BLM, Racism, Voice. Itās the way they do it Iāve had issues with over the years. The way this show has imploded is certainly on the edit and production front.
I donāt like the way WA interviews, no idea if that he forced on him, Carrie just reads the script, but I will say I do agree with WA on that pandemic rubbish this show dished out when we had panelists essentially telling us we need to get this vaccine everywhere, we must force them, I stood with WA when he pushed back on that.
And yes, Lisa was just toxic and should have been hired.
The show could still be thriving, but they destroyed it. You donāt need to watch the show to see all these issues, itās documented daily on social feeds almost daily.
