Tony Armstrong on the panel again tomorrow night and Rove on Friday night.
I agree, the audience was often rather empty on many nights, it is not an enjoyable experience on some episodes that are more than 50% prerecorded (interviews etc). I would save it for special episodes where they have a significant interview at the desk.
Yeah, an international guest or performance (musician or comedian).
Would Rove ever host Sundays and possibly Friday as he is in Sydney?
He has done it before but is better as the comedy co-host as he was tonight.
Good host combos. Also noticed Jan Fran only did pre-recorded segments this week which was better for her.
Lisa did a report on child care with a different lighting and backdrop than usually seen. Later Hamish’s report was on housing as similar. Edit: Sydney newsroom
Also tonight.
Update
Five at the desk with guest Bill Birtles tonight.
They would be in Sydney. Aren’t 3 of the hosts Sydney based?
Yes and Claire Hooper must be in Sydney for her comedy shows at the Enmore Theatre next weekend as part of the Sydney Comedy Festival.
Assuming The Sunday Project will be Sydney based every week now with HYBPA Back in the studio for 2021.
It already has been based in Sydney. They just had a Melbourne person on screen when they couldn’t have four on the desk.
Apologies. Haven’t been following it closely enough
Hamish on twice in two weeks - hopefully he is back as a regular. He is very enjoyable on this show.
He does banter well. Even on subjects he knows nothing about…like Star Wars.
Let’s hope Hamish does appear more often now,it was strange at first to have him at the desk with PVO but he definitely added more to the show last night.
It was actually a good week having all the regular hosts back compared to the week before when we had some strange hosting teams.
