There’s 4 on the desk. Did Lisa and Fran both fly to Melbourne for this?

Yes. As discussed at the start of show when Jan Fran said it was the first time that she was in the “same room” as the other hosts and Lisa added that it was "the room", meaning Melbourne.

Oh I missed the start. Did Jan think she was going to an 80s prom?

Jan Fran was in Melbourne already for The Great Debate as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

He has also done a couple of reports/sketches on The Weekly with Charlie Pickering this year. It was good to see a fresh talent on the show.

Great talent tonight… get him on more.

Good to read that Tony Armstrong was one of the panellists tonight. He even hosted the Summer Series of Offsiders on the ABC (even though it was a relatively short series). I hope he makes more appearances on The Project too.

Tony Armstrong was great. They should definitely get him back again.

I’ve been saying for a while that they needed some new blood to keep the show fresh and it was good to see Tony Armstrong this week and Tegan George last week.

They’ve tried out Jimmy Rees and Andy Lee too. Not sure how well they went but it is good to refresh the line-up from time to time and try out some newbies even if a bit out of left field, but I suppose Andy Lee needed to promote The Cube!

I thought Andy Lee was good although he sometimes he tries too hard to get a laugh. He’s good as a semi regular. I didn’t warm to Jimmy Rees.
