The Project

All flopped and so did Pointless. I think SBS has covered the market for “low cost game shows” with low ratings in the evening.

Ratings wise, the 6.30pm portion of the show will never be able to compete against Seven and Nine News. The 7pm portion does “okay” in 10’s standards. Surprisingly, the late night repeat (usually arpund the 11.30pm mark) rates well compared to other shows at that timeslot.

I cant see 10 bringing back a game show at 6 or 6.30pm anytime soon, as much as i do love game shows over this show.

It can be but this was probably the first time it worked well. Created some laughs when they showed Beau Ryan dressed in drag and his drag name Beau Job. :joy: But Bianca Del Rio is so quick the jokes and one liners that she had them all in stitches at the end. She was a great guest last time too.

it’s one of Ten’s most consistent performers, in the top 20 every night. Rates higher than the 5.00 news.

Carrie introduced her interview with Daniel Johns with a piece straight to camera, at the front of the studio. This works so much better after a commercial break rather than the cold opening they’ve been doing lately.

There’s something so disingenuous and off with this show. Or the hosts. I don’t know what it is.

Really nice to see Rebecca Morse on the panel tonight.

Yeah, great to see Bec back on TV again. She’s much better on the Project than some of the other fill ins they’ve had.

Not familiar with Rebecca but she was good. It was yet another awkward intro after the headlining story and she had to say she wasn’t the poster girl for cosmetic surgery. With the cold opening, she had already appeared asking questions and we had no idea who she was.

Seems not all is lost between Bec and 10 after what they did to her and the others :slightly_smiling_face:

Next Week On The Project. Sunday To Friday, 6.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.

Aussie born singer songwriter, Sam Fischer returns home for the first time in three years. Currently enjoying the rollercoaster ride of the pop world, Sam’s 2020 breakout hit, This City, has been a hit across the globe. Since then*,* he has collaborated with Demi Lovato, Sam Feldt and has written for global superstars including Ciara, Keith Urban, Louis Tomlinson and Jessie J.

Succession star Brian Cox joins us on the desk on Wednesday in his first Australian TV interview. Brian is in the country as a guest of The Melbourne Writers Festival and the Sydney Opera House’s Antidote Festival. His searingly candid memoir, Putting The Rabbit In The Hat , traces his journey from a tough working-class childhood in Dundee to becoming one of Britain’s foremost Shakespearean actors who has starred in films such as Adaptation and The Bourne Identity. We chat to Brian about his remarkable career which spans an incredible five decades.

Funny man Bill Bailey returns to Australia with his brand-new show, En Route To Normal which kicks off in Toowoomba on 22 September. With 16 stops on the tour, En Route To Normal promises a fun night out, with a heart-warming mix of stories, music and history, as Bill embarks on a personal mission to find our way through these strange times. Bill joins us at the desk for a laugh on Thursday.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since Robbie Williams quit British boy band Take That to embark on a solo career, and what a stellar career it’s been. Robbie has six of the Top 100 best-selling albums in British history, has sold a huge 80 million albums worldwide, achieved 14 number one singles and a record 18 BRIT Awards – more than any other artist in music history.

To celebrate this significant milestone, Robbie is set to release his new album, XXV, a collection of Robbie’s favourite songs from the past 25 years re-recorded with the acclaimed Metropole Orkest in The Netherlands. Waleed catches up with the cheeky chappie from Stoke On Trent on Thursday ahead of the release of XXV on Friday.

Always nice to see them mix things up with co-hosts, even if Fridays ratings are particularly low.

So is the show just all Tommy’s mates tonight?

It was very painful to watch tonight. Really loud and long laughing for stuff that wasn’t even that funny.

Just tonight? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
