Walleed and Rachel had to be pulled off each other tonight after a explosive war of words over social media.
I didn’t think there was too much in it actually. Both had a fair point. Altho I tend to side with Rachel’s view.
Really? They were in different studios and had a robust but respectful debate.

I feel like Rachel only got angry cause Walled blamed the app and that’s her whole business model so you can’t blame that.

I see both their points, it doesn’t mean people aren’t responsible for their actions but people are definitely drawn into saying or doing things online (and by default, the platform) that they wouldn’t do in real life face to face.

I agree with this - also the anonymity of some social media makes people feel protected from any consequences. In terms of the debate, I think that they both held their own - albeit Rachel was very passionate and Waleed a little annoyed that Rachel seemed to be misunderstanding him. It’s the kind of debate that is good for people to see on tv - 2 different points of view, clearly articulated, passionate, without degenerating into a war or personal attack.

I’m on team Rachel. Waleed was being condescending, rachel did understand what he was saying, his initial argument was weak, and the way he tried to clarify it didn’t make any sense.
Scapegoating Twitter culture for what Chrissy teigan did IS absolving her of responsibility, the two points can’t be separated.
I don’t think that is Waleed’s real opinion, he overplayed the devils advocate, dug his heels in and just started talking shit.
