The 36-year-old singer had stumbled over her words after being asked about sexual harassment in the music industry.
But Delta claimed her flustered response to the question had been because she couldn’t hear what the show’s panelists were asking her.
‘I didn’t actually hear exactly what the question was, and I was sort of processing,’ she explained.
Delta told radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that she’d appeared on The Project ‘on a link’, which had made it hard for her to hear.
Making the most of a visit that also includes HYBPA.
Craig Foster was an interesting addition to the panel tonight - some good insights and perspectives.
Rachel Corbett back in the box (via screen) tonight. I guess that means presenters won’t be travelling to Melbourne again, due to the latest Corona outbreak.
Thursday 27 May-
Lisa Wilkinson hosting from Sydney with Waleed,Pete and Kate Langbroek in the Melbourne studio tonight.
Good to have the NT in the whip-a-round segment, obviously in place of Vic who cant do anything this weekend…
Was that Renee Bargh in Sydney for the metro whip-around? It would be her first appearance on The Project.
The Project has been nominated for a Mid-Year Walkley Award:
The nominated award:
Our Watch Award
- Avani Dias, Angela McCormack, Ali Russell and Laura McAuliffe, Four Corners, Triple J Hack and ABC Online, “Tinder: A Predators’ Playground”
- Samantha Maiden, news.com.au, “Young staffer Brittany Higgins says she was raped at Parliament House” “Parliament office ‘steam cleaned’ after alleged attack” and “Minister Michaelia Cash’s voicemail message to Brittany Higgins”
- Lisa Wilkinson, Angus Llewellyn and Georgia Done, The Project and The Sunday Project, Network 10, “Brittany Higgins interview”, “Brittany Higgins editorial” and “A Matter of Consent”
What’s interesting is that they are still using The Sunday Project as a different show than the Monday-to-Friday show. I know they did that when the Sunday Edition first aired, but thought they dropped it soon after. The show is no different now to the weekday version.
Tuesday 1 June -
Dr Vyom Sharma is on the panel on the first time tonight.
He was a natural and has excellent media skills. Great to see more new panellists given a chance.
Oh wow. I never realised it was him. I follow on Twitter!
Does the Melbourne studio look different or is it just me?
The screens behind Georgie look closer or something, and the screen on the left that Lisa is on has changed hasn’t it?
They were certainly using some weird camera angles tonight like that tight opening shot of Waleed and Georgie, which was repeated a few times.
