Is it because of Lisa?
I tend to agree with the notion that The Project is better during the week. Weekends are give or take these days.

Lisa is totally out of place - she just doesn’t work on this program. Hugh is a really nice guy and a great journalist … but he is also out place, always looks awkward and a bit lost. The fourth person - it’s best I not comment.
That’s the problem when you have over-50s hosting a news show for under 50s
Kate? Kate’s great.
What I’m not a fan of now is how sexual assault is now a topic that even gets asked to the person promoting their music album. Delta looked so uncomfortable.
After you posted your comment I just watched it on Twitter. Delta was totally unprepared for that question, it obviously, to her, came out of nowhere.
It looks like Delta’s interview has been pulled from The Project’s Twitter account, but it and the rest of tonight’s episode can still be seen on 10play.
I tend to agree.
While it is obviously an incredibly serious issue and a story that absolutely needs to be told, it seems to be worked into ever single talent interview regardless of who is on, even if they have nothing to add to the conversation.
By all means discuss it (because it absolutely needs to be discussed) but I wish they wouldn’t try to shoehorn it into interviews where it isn’t relevant.
I’ve noticed this particularly when Lisa is the interviewer.
Yeah, they really should have given her a heads up if they were going to do this line of questioning…
Enjoyed the panel and show tonight. Hugh is great and story selection was good, questionable Delta questions aside.
No couch/desk in the world would be big enough for those three egos.
10, aka Boland, had the right combo for a breakfast show, Wake Up, right before their eyes in Natarsha Belling and Matt Doran but failed to realise.
Barrie Cassidy will be on the panel tonight, hopefully he will continue to make more appearances this year.
I don’t think the audience adds much to the show. Maybe just have special audience shows when they have big name stars interviewed on the panel.
Thats disappointing. I feel the show is dull without an audience.
Disappointing, but understandably, that there may be no return to having an audience. But i think that there should be one when a big guest is in, or have every Friday with one, when local guests are in the studio instead of a satellite interview. Have some form of people interaction.
Laura Spurway had quit as a producer on The Project, and started work at Seven News Melbourne today as a sport reporter.
Metro Whip Around has returned highlighting what’s happening around the country over the weekend.
The show went way over time tonight but good that they didn’t rush through that.
Might be strategic to give TLR a good lead-in considering it’s been flailing of late with all the changes.
Nice to see Liv Phyland back on 10.
Interesting to see Ampol sponsoring the segment, they’ve got other collaborations with the network at the moment with the Exploring Australia’s Own series with Mel Buttle.
