The Project (2015-Sept 2020)

I haven’t watched since Waleed has been on holidays. So I will be back on his return.

@Ryan @turdall what is so bad about Matt White? If anything Matt should be there more

He’s alright as a host but he’s a bit boring for The Project.

Too bland. With Waleed you’re getting more than what’s written on the autocue.

Waleed returns from holidays on Monday with Gorgi co-hosting.
[/quote] Good to have Joe Hildebrand as the special guest for a change.

Anyone catch this? a TV Show’s worst nightmare - 1/2 way through a 1hr show and a computer dies meaning they have no vision to playout for the rest of the show.

“a live interview with Lauren Jackson was stretched out to almost 7 mins”.
Finally an interview that wasn’t cut short! More technical difficulties please if this is the outcome.

Was going to say…all those people complaining over interview lengths, you got your wish tonight!

They handled it really well and i thought it was much better tonight to b honest

When doing my flick around, I wondered why they were showing the Cookie monster interview again. Certainly a tough show for all, however would have been worse if it was breakfast or the main 6pm news.

On 6pm Bulletin:

Sandra Sully:“Okay we are having some technical difficulties at the moment, so instead we cross to Tim Bailey and his dog doing some tricks as we try to fix the problem.” :stuck_out_tongue:

The improvised actions of the news stories Carrie was reading out provided some good laughs. Waleed’s impersonation of a crotch-grabbing Michael Jackson should be used in an upcoming promo. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Waleed’s MJ impersonation :grinning:

A stuff-up with first cross to a reporter tonight after not editing out the reporters mistake and we saw them restart. Carrie had to say that was recorded earlier. Oops

When I went to see it live most of the things they aired, including all interviews, were prerecorded. They mentioned it before the show started and had a little earlier sign on the screens for us but it is not shown on television. It is inevitable that some things are going to be prerecorded.

The issue isn’t that they pre-recorded it but the fact that they didn’t edit out the mistake at the start from the reporter and showed it. They restarted the interview but accidently showed the false start and the restart.

Rather than say oops we apologise for that, they only said that was pre-recorded to explain the error.

Daniel Sutton was posting about the out take on Facebook. He seems disappointed it went to air.

Distracted Ten Eyewitness news reporter Daniel Sutton is making headlines for his awkward flub last night on The Project

I did’t watch that bit last night. I see what you mean. Bit strange they didn’t edit out the mistake must have just been a mistake.
