They seriously need to sort this out.
Agreed. The special guest should not be left to the last segment of the night. The interview should start at around 7.15pm.
Having special guests appear in the last segment also annoys me. They appear for way too short of a time. They usually air a long intro too, prior to the guest appearing. Then ask two-to-three questions, then apologise for not having enough time to ask more questions. This has been happening for some time now too.
Final big name guests should appear earlier, at around 7.15 or so. Not at 7.27, when then show finishes just minutes later!
Agreed, it would be good if they bring the guest on after the 7pm headlines and leave them on the panel for the second half of the show.
I wouldnât go that far but it would depend on the guest. The other week they had UK singer James Bay and he was a terrible interview subject. You wouldnât want him for any longer than a couple of minutes. Last night, Kristin Davis was well spoken, intelligent and quick witted. She could have easily been on for half the show and contributed quite a bit to other stories and subjects.
I think if they had the guest on soon after 7pm, they could make the decision to extend the interview or cut it short as they go on.
The project is getting universal praise on twitter for airing the whole Tim Minchin song âCome Home (Cardinal Pell)â. including from father bob.
I thought it was very edgy for fta tv, takes me back to The Chasers in the mid naughties. good to see.
Nicole Livingstone was great tonight, hope we can see more of her
Donât you mean Liz Ellis?
But I agree, sheâs great when sheâs on the panel.
Two completely different kettles of fish. Liz Ellis is great.
I knew that I swear, no idea why I typed out Nicole.
The song made it to number 11 on the ARIA charts
ARIA Singles Chart
Dannii Minogue joins The Project team on Monday night for a special assignment about a special charity.
Powerful story tonight with Gorgi Coghlan talking to brave survivors of clergy abuse from Ballarat.
The fabulous Meshel Laurie and Gorgi set up a campaign via gofundme to send victims from Ballarat to Rome to hear George Pell give evidence in the Royal Commission .
Well done to The Project for helping out, nearly 5,000 people have made donations.
It was also great to have future prime minister Stan Grant at the desk.
But seriously, he was really good. They should have him on the show more often.
Brilliant campaign by Meshel and Gorgi and everyone who donated.
No idea why they gave airtime to the three âprankstersâ. Last thing those morons need is publicity.

[/quote]Agreed!
Made my blood boil watching them three little shits with bloody smug looks on there faces.Police havenât questioned them as yet but are suppose to be investigating. One of those kids was trying to compare there 'pranksâto a tv show .l donât give a rats arse how many times they videos have been viewed on YouTube, yes showing my age by saying this shit on YouTube that people like to watch sometimes has me baffled. What they have done is a bloody crime in my book and for what to have there 5 minutes of fame.
I was very disappointed they interviewed them, but l will say in fairness they tried to make them understand what they have done is wrong especially Stan Grant. But it has probably gone on deaf ears and made them think we are even more important because a tv show has interviewed us.
Reports say the 3 are âin police custodyâ
Jalal brothers arrested after staging hoax drive-by shooting with fake AK47
Three Melbourne brothers who staged and filmed hoax attacks on members of the public, including firing a fake AK-47 at a young girl, have been arrested by police.
Jalal brothers: YouTube pranksters sorry for drive-by shooting video
âThe warrants relate to an ongoing operation. Three men presented themselves at the Crime Command Police Complex around 8.35 this morning,â the statement read. âThe men, aged 20, 18 and 16 are currently in custody assisting with inquiries.â
While it is unclear if the brothers will be charged, Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton told 3AW he believed criminal offences were committed, including assault, imitation firearms and, if the boys made money from their videos, proceeds of crime.
It appears the brothers took themselves to police after doing the rounds on breakfast TV this morning.
