With Stage 4 restrictions coming into effect, I wouldn’t be surprised if The Project comes out of Sydney during the week too?

The Project is news, it will remain in Melbourne.

Yeah I was wondering that too - they don’t have to shut down production under the restrictions, but since everything’s set up in Sydney it kind of makes sense (especially with Tommy Little based in Syd atm it seems). Would allow a lot more of the Victorian based staff to work from home

Tommy moved out of Luke McGreggor’s ages ago. He’s prob shacked up with his GF now

Very unbalanced panel tonight. At the start of the show all 4 panelists were sympathizing with people that breached their isolation and were facing a fine. And they just had a package that seemed to criticize Australia’s hard international border closure and lack of compassion in exemptions.

I watched it last night, dont think that tweet describes the question fairly. The hosts were having a conversation with the survivor about the feelings on the street after discussing the Lebanese distrust in their leaders. They were not presenting any of it as fact.

Waleed, Joel Creasey and Steve Price at the desk with Lisa Wilkinson in the Sydney studio ( I’m assuming) tonight.

Does anyone on Media Spy still have respect for Jodi Lee as a journalist? All of mine (based on a fairly solid performance during her time on Prime7 and even a brief stint at Seven News Sydney) was lost when she did that infamous interview in January 2018.

I do. I always look up on her Twitter for updates during the Victorian Government’s daily press conference on COVID-19.

Never heard of her until I saw that tweet.

Which interview?

She never replied to Pete Helliars comments. If she is bold enough to misconstrue the question she should at least be bold enough to answer the questions he asked as well.

I have watched a lot of the project this week after not watching it in a while. I watched the interview live. I didn’t find the question to be as irresponsible as she suggested. But I did find it strange they didn’t discuss the answer further.

Not unusual for the show to do a hard cut on an interview and then throw to an ad break, they always seem to have to tell guests they’ll “leave it there”.

Sky News obviously picked up on it also:

reminds me of just after trump was elected and Carrie cut off steve price to allow a guest that had just been introduced to answer a question that was directed at her. (after steve had been talking for most of the episode) sky news pounced on it as “left wing silencing conservative views”. but never aired the question which completely changed the context of the exchange.
