I’ve just finished the first three episodes of NCIS: Tony and Ziva.
They’re fantastic. Extremely engaging, however, a large glaring issue is evident.
COVID exists in the NCIS universe as Jimmy’s wife Breena passed away from the disease on the main NCIS show but it appears to be completely non existent on the 2020 flashback scenes such as Tony and Ziva at a restaurant in April 2020 the family out and about in Italy during the year.
Pretty big omission on my opinion. Especially as the main series is referenced by Ziva joking how would be a good time to get McGee’s help.
The crossover, which will air in the US on November 11, begins on NCIS: Origins (“Gibbs [Austin Stowell] and team investigate the small-town death of a naval officer in the ‘90s” per CBS synopsis) and finishes on NCIS (the same case is “unexpectedly re-opened in the present day”).
Filming of the third season of NCIS: Sydney must be close to completion. 10 could also use the opportunity to reveal the FTA premiere date of season two.
NCIS: Sydney Returns For A Star-Studded Third Season.
A New Season Of The Paramount+ Original Series Streaming Exclusively From Tuesday, 14 October.
The NCIS: Sydney team is back for a bigger, bolder, and even more explosive third season, premiering exclusively on Paramount+ Australia on Tuesday, 14 October. After their croc-fuelled Top End adventure, the team are back in the glistening Harbour City, but something even more dangerous is coming back to bite them… their own pasts.
Blue (Mavournee Hazel) is hunted down by her so-called “family” who harbour a shocking ulterior motive; while DeShawn (Sean Sagar) is forced to admit he concealed a crucial piece of evidence in a court-martial to protect someone very close.
JD (Todd Lasance) must deal with the fallout from a Faustian pact to keep the team intact within the context of a crumbling relationship… while Evie (Tuuli Narkle) tentatively embarks on a new one; and Doc Roy (William McInnes) must decide if he’s ready to let go.
Against a backdrop of adrenaline pumping cases, our beloved team are put to the test like never before, involving an outback alien abduction, a nano-tech assassin, a true crime podcast cold case, a journey to Antarctica, a swashbuckling treasure hunt, and an international conspiracy with links to… Mackey (Olivia Swann).
Full of non-stop thrilling action, season three sees Claude Jabbour join as a recurring guest, and features special guest stars including Doris Younane, Simone Kessell, Fayssal Bazzi, Stephen Peacocke, Lincoln Lewis, Anthony Hayes and many more!
NCIS: Sydney is produced by Endemol Shine Australia (a Banijay Entertainment company) for CBS Studios and Paramount Australia and distributed outside Australia by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles will air on 7flix for the first time, from Wednesday October 1. Both series will start from the first episode, with NCIS at 7.30pm and 8.30pm, and NCIS: LA at 9.30pm and 10.30pm.
