I would‘ve thought Eddy would be Nat Barr’s eventual replacement on Sunrise (I reckon Monique is too close in age to Nat to be considered the long-term replacement).
And yet, Nat replaced Sam who had replaced Mel. But Nat was close to the same age as Mel.
The age thing might have been the reason they replaced Mel for Sam but they realised their mistake later. They realised experience and audience connection was more important.

It related to the song ‘Thank You For Being A Friend’ as seen in the captions. The song was used for their 10th birth celebrations so they replayed that as well as an interview with the singer.

The show won’t air in WA this Friday due to Seven’s coverage of the first Ashes test. Will it be hard to put it on 7two in lieu of NBC Today?

“I’m probably gonna go with The Morning Show, with Larry (Emdur) and Kylie(Gillies)..I always make time.”
With expected “cost synergies” of $25m-30m – code for “job losses” – under the new merger, there will be many at Seven looking over their shoulder next year. But Larry and Kylie clearly need not worry!
