I would‘ve thought Eddy would be Nat Barr’s eventual replacement on Sunrise (I reckon Monique is too close in age to Nat to be considered the long-term replacement).
And yet, Nat replaced Sam who had replaced Mel. But Nat was close to the same age as Mel.
The age thing might have been the reason they replaced Mel for Sam but they realised their mistake later. They realised experience and audience connection was more important.
