Audiences are expensive but it really adds a lot atmosphere and makes it less of another news magazine.

I think both TMS & Today Extra (well Mornings) were much better 10 years ago then the crap they pump out today. I remember when these programs were enjoyable to watch. Now it’s just bland. I think before McKnight left Studio 10, that’s why it was much more enjoyable to watch then these alternatives on 7 & 9.

I agree. Morning TV used to be fun and entertaining. Now, they’re more “news based”, and showing less content, with many stories 'coming up later in the show" to then show very little of the story.

Today Extra is the worst at this. The last segment before the 11:25am “Up Next” news update. Usually only runs for 15-25 seconds before the advertorial rolls.

KAK very good.
The show looks a lot nicer with a brighter backdrop / some colour in the supers.
The orange/blue colour scheme looks very breakfast for a morning show IMO.
