The Masked Singer

You try being away from your child for 2 months, isolated and alone from the world. She has every right to “whinge”.

She is entitled to complain, just as she is entitled to take the offer of money and choose to be away from her child, isolated and alone in the world.

I am pretty sure we have heard you whinge about a few things in the past :stuck_out_tongue:

My parents have been isolated and away from their children/grandchildren for more than 2 months now. She has a right to feel that way but she is not unique and there are a lot of people going through this that aren’t being paid a bucketload like she is (in fact a lot of people can’t work).

Video of Promo:

Ten’s head of entertainment Stephen Tate confirmed a leadership group was brought together to navigate the strict quarantine requirements for cast and crew and figure out how to film the finale episode after the show was shut down on August 22 after a coronavirus outbreak. Ten and Warner Bros also arranged for all non-Victorian cast and crew to immediately fly out of the state on the first flights available, the morning after the finale was filmed.
Tate said the decision on whether to shoot season 3 in Melbourne would come down to timing and availability of studio space.

“2 countries, 3 states”

Did they film in America instead :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Good that they are not pretending that everyone is in the studio which I thought they might do. I wonder if they will try and make Osher look like he’s there though.

You do realise the original counties were in England, right?

Jackie said that while it may appear that they are in the same studio, they are making the situation very clear from the start of the show.

It doesn’t look like that at all from the Instagram shot. I thought they said they were going to green screen them in but it looks like they are just on TV screens sitting on the judging panel.

Yeah I like the duet idea because it makes it a bit harder to guess. Like you might guess one but not the other and there might be a lot in there to figure out how the two people might be linked. I guess it could be open to two people that normally perform together (a duet, in the same sport or team etc) or it could be two unrelated people but there are clues that could link them together.

Like the Veronicas?

The Veronicas would be way too obvious.

Really good job by the team to make this as close to normal as possible.

Editing in Osher is where the most effort went and it’s bloody good, sometimes you can tell sometimes you can’t. Perspective is fantastic.

Jackie is second best, only some of the closeups you can tell are edits, as there it quite some jaggy lines behind her. Perspective wise pretty spot on.

Ursula is where they struggled the most. She should have been positioned a bit further from the camera as her perspective is not aligned with the others, her image has artefacts. Hotel connection and lack of expensive cameras really shows!

Assume the TV’s are there so the other judges can see them, as they could have got away without having them there with similar editing to oshers

Overall great job.

Seems the audience is dummys in costume and the applauses are canned, footage of the crowd moving is stock footage. Took me an hour to notice.

Yes the audience is dressed up (mainly consisting of the stage and floor crew).
