The group performance was a bit of a let down. I was expecting to see the 9 singers take off their mask in front of each other on stage. I was hoping for a reunion of all singers on stage.

Well you should have known better. None of the singers have met each other and that has been mentioned many times.

Hopefully a magazine like Who or TV Week can organise a reunion for the 12 celebrities who took part, so they can meet face to face for the first time and recall their experiences.

Don’t know why you were expecting that when Gretel said on The Project after the first episode that it was all secret even in the group performance.

MONSTER! Here she is! Along with my fabulous dresser Indy who helped me become Monster each night. She wasn’t the easiest to move around in and boy was she so HOT to perform in, but she was absolutely magical to me and helped me embrace my voice and myself. What a ride. Still feels like a wonderful crazy dream.

No real surprises in the finale but still enjoyed it. I was very happy to see the Wolf second and the Robot win.

Ratings predictions? I’ll say 1.3 mill for the winner revealed.

Yeh still enjoyed it even though it was somewhat predictable. I think ten did a great job and like how they didn’t turn it into a two hour event.

I think this show will grow next year. I think the success of the first season will help them nab some bigger names. I think ten should go all in and create some collectible mini characters with Woolworths and really get everyone involved!!!

Yeah if they are smart they can make it grow next year by putting some $$ into a couple of bigger names. First season was always going to do well based on the concept. If they promise big stars it will grow. I like the Woolworths or Coles mini idea.

A pretty sharp finale, I enjoyed the group performance given you could recognize the voices. I did wonder whether they used stand ins for the choreography etc as it would have taken extensive rehearsals to get right. The listing of the celebrities felt a bit corny.

I also liked the final 3 reveals didn’t have the perfect hair and make up as we had seen previously, gives a better idea of whats happening under the mask.

Overall I was impressed with the judging panel, I would maybe replace Hughsey but he is a pretty big advocate of the show. I look forward to Season 2, no doubt it will be more difficult to produce now that its somewhat of a hit the DailyFail will be all over the filming schedule trying to spoil the celebrities.

I enjoyed the first season too and I liked 10’s idea of keeping each episode to around 75 minutes. But the “secret” unmasking in front of an almost empty stage just lacked atmosphere. If The Voice contestants can be eliminated during battles and showdowns in front of a studio audience (both stages are pre-recorded), the audience should be there for the mask reveal for next season as well.
