What’s the point of this? Drag out the ratings for 3 minutes and piss off your audience in the process. No wonder Ten is 4th in the ratings.

Yeah. That’s pretty much it. It’s all about the ratings and attracting advertisers.
They’d be better off having Osher go “and it’s time too… take it off!!!… after the break!” Rather than just cut it like they’re doing.

Brendan Fevola discussed his performance as The Captain on his Fox breakfast show today. He told Fifi Box and Nick Cody that he was originally to be called Titanic and already had his costume made with a ship on his back. When he arrived in Sydney in June, a couple of days before his filming of the show, the Oceangate Titan submersible imploded in the North Atlantic Ocean off Newfoundland, Canada, killing everyone onboard, so producers had to change the character name from Titanic to the Captain, and his costume had to be amended. Fev said he practiced twice per week via Zoom with his singing coach, and reckoned he lost 5kg because his costume was so hot even with small fans installed inside.

I don’t get the outcry. They would otherwise just go to an ad break before the reveal so it doesn’t really make a difference and builds up more suspense. In the first episode when they did this we saw the blonde hair, so it actually got my friends group chat guessing more in the ads as nobody we had guessed had blonde hair. So I don’t mind it time to time.

Neither do I. I do however record everything as I hate ads so it’s just another FF for me whenever or wherever the break comes.

Holy Cow! Cowgirl Is Put Out To Pasture.
Courtney Act Is The Tenth Celebrity Revealed On The Masked Singer Australia.
Just when she was a hop, skip and a cloven hoof away from lassoing the Finale trophy, Cowgirl was herded off the stage on tonight’s The Masked Singer Australia.
A clear favourite in the competition this season, Cowgirl duked it out against Bouncer but ultimately it was the international drag superstar Courtney Act who was unmasked.
With a mooving performance of fun’s We Are Young, most of the panel were left scratching their heads with Mel B locking in comedian Kathy Griffith, Abbie RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Chad Michaels and Hughesy naming Dolly Parton.
But it was CSI Chrissie Swan who successfully tipped Cowgirl to be none other than Courtney Act.
When asked why Courtney decided to perform incognito, she said: “I think some people see Courtney as a mask, but I thought ‘I wonder what it would be like wearing an actual mask.’ And it’s kind of thrilling because you have no fear because no one can see you, and if you mess up, it’s like it’s not about you, it’s the cow that did it.”
Osher went deep, stating: “You’re a very important voice in our community, but over the past 12 months some people have seen you as a bit of a threat Courtney.”
Responding, Courtney said: “Yeah, they have, isn’t it weird! The funny thing is, I feel like I could read to children dressed as Cowgirl, but there might be some people who argue that I shouldn’t read to children dressed like this.
“But you know what I realise is the haters are an extremely small minority and that resoundingly, myself, drag performers, LGBTQ+ people are loved and supported by everyone in our community, there’s more visibility than ever, the message of queer people really is the message of the Spice Girls, it is that message of be who you are, be authentic.”

Yeah exactly. Does anyone else feel not bothered to finish the season cause it’s so obvious as to who is who?
So “the sporting superstar” is Brendan Fevola (the Captain). Was Courtney Act (Cowgirl) the “showbiz triple threat”?
That leaves the top three. Here are my guesses:

I have lost interest because they are all so obvious - mostly had the TV on in the background last night whilst doing some things. Although given there is just one normal episode remaining, I’m interested to see who wins. I really hope that it is Snow Fox.
I hope next year that they go back to airing the full season over more nights and in 3-4 weeks. When you start guessing people, if the season still goes on for many more weeks it becomes a bit more of a drag. I prefer it wrapped up at a faster pace.

The Greatest Hits special aired tonight, featuring the top 10 performances from the past four seasons of the show, plus behind the scenes look at the eliminated masks from this season.
The top three performances were:
- Vampire (Anastacia) (season 3 winner) - Live and Let Die
- Mirrorball (Melody Thornton) (season 4 winner) - Xanadu
- Robot (Cody Simpson) (season 1 winner) - Edge of Glory
What stupid scheduling by 10. Airing a best-of show against BB launch … giving BB some breathing space. And 9’s My Mum, Your Dad as well.
Not that I expect either to do very well.
