The increasingly crowded streaming market

Nah, he won’t do free to air TV, unless he’s in a small role like in Housos.

The Beast needs to have some life experience, he’s not even 40 yet. I’d be more qualified than him.

I’d tune in. From your posts, you’re funnier than some of what passes for comedy on the ABC.

Not that he’d do it but I reckon Paul Henry would be perfect if they ever brought back the Kiwi version.

Not really. Doesn’t offer currently running shows, except Utopia for international audiences. It’s also not free.

Not all of them. The featured ones at the top of the page allow you to purchase and watch them on the site. The shows currently running or tied up with other services are linked though, yes.

Don’t know if this been mentioned, but the Scientologists have a free to air TV network. It’s weirder than our members in a IRL meet-up. On air since 2018 apparently, and just brought channel 22 in LA to air its programs.

They advertise quite heavily for the service on X, formerly Twitter.

Well I’m not the biggest user of X/Twitter, so I’m not sure how much they do advertise on that service.

I only knew about this because they brought channel 22 in LA.

Renamed the station to KSCN to boot.

I noticed today that the Tubi app has rebranded (slightly) to Tubi Superbowl LIX. Now I know they won’t be showing it in Aus but does this mean Tubi has Streaming rights in the US?

Now, cord-cutters can watch the game for free as well on the relatively obscure Tubi streaming service.

This is happening because Fox owns Tubi. This will be the first time the Super Bowl will be streamed at no cost, alongside its traditional over-the-air antenna broadcasts. Tubi is a low-end service without multiple screens or any DVR functionality. It will also only show the game on low-end 720p HDTV.

They have a slot on DIRECTV satellite as well. There’s very little of substance on there - all just puff pieces about individual Scientologists, tours of Scientology ‘churches’ and talks by L. Ron Hubbard. Tbh I think it only really exists to get donations from existing members.

Look who’s back.
