The Graham Norton Show

Yes please. These two shows are 30 minute shows. There’s no need to stretch them out to an hour each like every other game show out tbere.

This would be great. However given they’ve said primetime specials you can bet it’ll be an hour :frowning: So rare to see 30 min shows in primetime these days due to cost etc

My message was referring to someone elses post, and before the article of prinetime specials popped up.

Yes, will be 60 minute (plus overrun) in primetime 100%.

Everything old is new again.

Season 31

Premieres Sunday 1 October 7:30 pm

Ep 1: Queen of pop, Kylie Minogue ,actor Stephen Graham, actor and writer David Mitchell, comedian Mawaan Rizwan, and a performance from singer-songwriter, Mae Muller.

Season 31 starts on the BBC next Friday, September 29, so 10 will show it just two days after the UK.

Catherine Tate is among the guests for episode 2.

I think the Sunday night broadcast could be a one-off as it is also the night of the NRL Grand Final.

I think it is remarkable that there will still be a new season but with a depleted guest line-up. The current US actors and writers strike means many American actors won’t be able to appear on the show to promote the shows and/or movies they are involved in.

I mean the UK has a healthy pop culture scene with their TV and Movie stars.

You could still get some good line ups.

Friday night is Saturday morning for us. So more like 1.5 days behind the UK

Also got a watermark

With the debut of Dessert Masters on Sunday nights - Graham is back to premiere episodes on Friday nights.

After this episode, the current season will take a Christmas break and return with a NYE special set to air in Britain on December 31. It will be interesting to see if 10 will show it on January 1 or January 5 (regular Friday night timeslot).

Probably both. They’ve done that before

The NYE special is not on 10’s schedule for the week of December 31, with the regular Friday timeslot taken by a repeat movie. Surely that’s a programming mistake?

Sunday 7th January

Sunday 7th January at the earlier time of 6pm, according to advance schedule in TV Week.

Yes correct - will be 90 minutes then a movie at 7.30

Guests on this episode 7 were P. Diddy, actors Ashley Jensen and George MacKay, and Chris and Rosie Ramsey (who host their own chat show on the BBC), with performance by Jessie Ware.

Guests for the new season premiere on September 27 (UK time) include Lady Gaga, Colin Farrell, Demi Moore and Richard Ayoade.
