Well done, some pretty good praise there and you’ve hit the big time! Great job.
Thanks mate - crazy stuff!
Has seven contacted you yet?
Not yet - I’m worried that when they do it will be from their lawyers - seeing that I use their theme!
Hopefully their lawyers are something they have cut from their payroll
Sunday 7 June
Set your alarms: the original and the best Sunday Footy Show is returning to its 10.00am timeslot with a brand new set this Sunday on Nine and 9Now.
The Sunday Footy Show panel – Tony Jones, Billy Brownless, Matthew Lloyd, Nathan Brown, Kane Cornes and Damian Barrett – are all hyped up because this is the last Sunday with no footy and they can’t wait to bring viewers the best in AFL news and laughs.
Joining the panel is legendary coach Denis Pagan, who enters TJ’s Time Capsule as this week’s special guest. The two-time premiership coach with North Melbourne will take a look back at the 1996 Grand Final.
Melbourne young gun and barbecue onion enthusiast Angus Brayshaw will appear live to tell us about the Demons’ training program in iso and how they are preparing for their Round 2 clash with Carlton.
Lloydy’s Deep Dive will once again explore what would have been in the Round 12 match-ups, including Adelaide v Western Bulldogs. In 2015, these two sides faced off in the Elimination Final that led to the relationship breakdown of Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge and Damo. Also, for North Melbourne v Richmond, we remember what happened in 2003 when Jason McCartney made a heroic return to the AFL – only to announce his retirement straight after his first game back. TJ, who was closely involved, will revisit this emotional moment.
Billy’s List reveals the greatest haircut of all time – can Warwick Capper go back-to-back after winning last week’s poll? And with the induction of West Coast Eagles rookie pick Dean Cox into the AFL Hall of Fame during the week, the panellists will nominate who they believe to be the greatest ever rookie selection and throw it open for another audience poll.
Browny’s Quiz returns with Sportsbet giving home viewers the chance to win $500 every week.
And three of the AFL’s best analysers – Lloyd, Brown and Cornes – will preview the big matches coming up in Round 2.
Looks alright, But those three poles on the left-hand side looks disjointed and bizarre. The rest looks good.
I like it. Well done
Looks clean. Where is this studio, Melbourne? And is that a screen behind them or static panels?
There’s actually 4 and when you zoom in, it actually looks alright IMO.
Supposed to mimic goal posts I guess
I think we’ll see this new set on footy classified
Was it not on in previous weeks?
Does this mean that dreadful plastic blue set GTV used for the Sunday footy show, tennis, etc is finally in the bin?
How much did he pay them to have his head back on TV?
Poor decision IMO, Sam is awful.
What a refreshing concept
Being a shed, it’s fairly easy to lock the door and throw away the key.
They just can’t get enough of the guy can’t they?
He’s past his used by date just like his old show.
