Could Trevor Marmalade, who was dumped from The Footy Show in 2008, return to the program next year? I hope the answer is yes.

Rebecca Maddern announced tonight via Instagram that she is pregnant with her first child. The baby is due in May 2018. She will continue to host Australian Ninja Warrior and AFL Footy Show.
Meaning Bec will miss some of the 2018 Footy Show while she’s on Maternity Leave.
Somehow, this is still news.
If she’s on maternity leave, this will probably leave to Eddie, Sam Newman, Billy to host the show during winter. Another scenario would be to find another female who can fill in for Rebecca.
The Sunday Herald Sun is claiming that Shane Crawford has told Nine he does not want to return to the AFL Footy Show, though the story also claims a Nine source is expecting that he will be back. Crawford has a contract with Nine until the end of 2018.
The Sunday Herald Sun reports founding producer of the Footy Show, Harvey Silver, has returned after 20 years to become supervising producer of the show. Silver left the Footy Show in 1998 to make Live and Kicking for Seven which lasted one season. Meanwhile, Footy Show executive producer Adam Rowe has quit, and is understood to have joined The Front Bar on Seven.
Live and Kicking was a good show.
Herald Sun reports Brendan Fevola will return to the Footy Show this year, nine years after he was sacked over a drunken incident on TV. Chris Judd and Dane Swan will also join the panel.
I don’t pull this out often but this is what I think of the new addition to the show.
Three of the AFL’s most decorated legends, Chris Judd, Dane Swan and Brendan Fevola, will join The AFL Footy Show in 2018 as the show celebrates its 25th season.
I’m a Celebrity doing wonders for contestants careers since 2015.
What month does the show return?
Do we know who will be taking Bec’s seat when she goes on ML? One of the members mentioned above?
March.
My guess is they’ll rotate some AFLW players.
Can we see The afl footy Show return on 7th or 8th March?
THE FOOTY SHOW CONTINUES TO CRASH THE PARTY
Returning 8 March
The Footy Show celebrates its 25th birthday when it returns with the biggest stars and all the breaking news from the world of AFL at this Thursday on Nine.
Eddie McGuire, Rebecca Maddern and Sam Newman are gearing up for another huge year, introducing new segments, debating the hottest topics on and off the field, and celebrating the game we all love.
New recruits – three of the AFL’s greatest champions, Brendan Fevola, Chris Judd and Dane Swan – are crashing the party, appearing live together. All three were audience favourites on The Footy Show in their playing days, when they were involved in some of the most memorable moments in its colourful history.
Fev and Juddy will revisit the fallout after that notorious night at the 2009 Brownlow Medal Awards where Fev’s behaviour while filming Street Talk got him traded away from his beloved Carlton to Brisbane.
This week there will also be a special appearance from Brownlow Medallist Dustin Martin as Sam chats to him from behind the wheel of his Lamborghini, stars of the AFLW are in the studio live on International Womens Day, and Bec spends the day with some big-name players and their newborn babies as she prepares for her own impending arrival.
Plus, Billy Brownless and Shane Crawford face off in a no-holds-barred battle testing their skills and street cred.
With a stellar lineup, hilarious gags and the biggest stories in football, you won’t want to miss out on the fun when The Footy Show returns: this Thursday, live, on Nine.
No Trevor Marmalade by the looks of it.
Is Newman doing a Seinfeld ripoff, doing interviews in his car.
Saw the promo and they really need to…
Why oh why is this show returning? It’s average to be honest and it keeps getting worse.
AFL Footy show makes you LOL
