The Cube

Do we think this will go sundays with amazing race mondays and Tuesday’s?

If that was to happen what’s going on Wednesday’s and Thursday? They’re not promoting any other shows.

I was more thinking this would go Wednesday and Thursday and The Amazing Race Sunday-Tuesday.

Ughhh god help us. Why can’t they realise less is more. The Cune looks like a once a week game show and amazing race only needs twice a week so they don’t burn through all the episodes in 3 weeks ffs. When wil these networks learn.

I was just assuming. It could be the way you are saying. It could end up being Bondi rescue on Wednesday and ambulance on thursdays.

No you could be right. Surely we’ve seen the end of bondi rescue in prime time. Is ambulance still being made or is it repeats.

Regardless… seems 10 are fucked as per usual with their content.

Hope its only on air once a week (twice max!), and fast paced. No back stories which we tend to do alot here in Australia.

You’ve Got A Date Inside The Cube With Andy Lee.

Australia’s ultimate skill test The Cube , may look easy, but with a shot at a whopping $250,000 on the line, it’s anything but.

Premiering Wednesday, 24 February at 7.30pm, Andy Lee hosts this edge-of-your-seat, family-entertainment game show putting everyday Aussies’ back in their boxes (literally!).

And as he points out, every single game is doable. It just comes down to: can you do it?

I was expecting a Sunday night or something, so Wednesday is little surprising, so that might suggest TARA will move to Sun-Tues instead after launch?

I wonder if they’ll run with more than 1 episode a week too since they’re just running Ambulance Australia repeats on Thursdays, though you’d think if that was happening they’d promote it now.

Wonder how 10 feel about Andy appearing in “Guess Whom” on Nine’s tennis?

I’m surprised. Seems somewhat promotional for 10.

Exclusive talent deals are too expensive these days.

Andy has appeared on 9’s tennis coverage in previous years, so it’s nothing new. If anything, it’s additional exposure for him before the show starts next week.

As @TVHead said, locking talent into expensive exclusive network deals isn’t a thing anymore. It doesn’t make financial sense, and I’m sure they probably wouldn’t take a hosting role with that kind of condition as part of the contract given it would limit their potential earning and opportunities.

The Cube is deceptively simple. Players are placed inside a Perspex box and must win seven games, without losing nine lives.

From throwing to catching, estimating to balancing, memorising to reacting, The Cube challenges everyday Aussies to compete in a combination of mental and physical games for the grand prize.
