Adam Rozenbachs back talking sport this week.
Great interview with Eric Idle. For the first time in the show’s history we got to see Tim’s emotional side, when he showed his late father’s collection of Monty Python vinyl records to Eric.
Just a bit excited we got to chat to @EricIdle. They say never meet your Idles, but Eric is a good one! #CheapSeats pic.twitter.com/jdjV6Ne8O9

That’s harsh, don’t you think?
How is that harsh??
Makes it sound like he lacks emotion.
It’s a fair comment. This is a comedy show and it is rare to have that level of emotion on screen and we have never seen that side of him. It was quite a touching moment.
It was a weird moment but absolutely brilliant, I think Tim got more emotional than he expected and so he managed to crack a quick joke in there too but even Eric seemed to be getting emotional with that too. It was unexpected but a really good feel good moment for all involved especially for Eric for showing the power that comedy has for people.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but there are two episodes to go. Final episode for the year will be Tuesday 12th November.
Do you mean Tuesday 19th November? Next Tuesday 12th should be the second last episode of the year.
Yes, 19th sorry.
Jamie Oliver is a special guest on this week’s show, according to a new promo shown tonight.

Live from The White House as we tackle a massive week of news
That’s actually a photo of the Capitol.
Also, Jamie Oliver had cancelled his appearance on tonight’s show, possibly due to the fallout from his children’s book.
Yeah I wondered if that would be the reason. Good to see the team decided to go with the “let’s make a huge song and dance about it” option rather than just a brief mention. Gave them plenty of good material for future jokes which was great.
Interesting that he cancelled this but not his appearances on The Project.
Likely had a commitment there due to the awards, The Cheap Seats is far more light hearted and would’ve likely been seen as inappropriate given the circumstances.
He’ll feature in an exclusive interview with Narelda on 10’s Lunchtime news tomorrow.

What shows are on your must-see TV list lately?
MT: For my role as the Cultural Correspondent on The Cheap Seats I watch a lot of trashy reality TV. So as expected, my recommendations are all trashy reality TV shows.
