The Cheap Seats

Except The Panel aired on Wednesdays so perhaps there isn’t the nostalgia there after all.

Or even Wednesdays considering they having nothing but that Bull show there.

Omg  did it move to Thursday?

Or what else am I thinking of? I remember staying up late on Thursday’s back in the day coz Friday was basically classed a non productive work day so it didn’t matter haha

The Panel was always Wednesday, I think Thursday mainly had The Foot Show as the live entertainment offering.

The Cheap Seats can be a bit hit and miss but it is a largely enjoyable watch. It deserves to rate better than the other two offerings.

The nostalgia element of Now and Then is appealing but some of the commentators are insufferable and are incapable of viewing history from beyond their own bubble and experience.

I don’t mind Andy Lee as a host but couldn’t suffer through more than a few minutes of The Hundred. Even some nobody on the celebrity panel last week was poking fun at the weak format. Another forced, over produced attempt at mid evening content from Nine.

I don’t know why these networks insist on scheduling these light entertainment shows up against each other when there are a few gaping holes that they could use to establish new product and give it a chance of success.

Can’t stand Shane Jacobson and why he has to be on so many shows on Seven.

It’s just very flat and boring. No compelling reason to watch it unless if you like nonsense.

In an ideal world where 10 has lots of programming, I would alternate HYBPA and Cheap Seats- air Cheap Seats on Mondays in the same slot as HYBPA when it isn’t on air for those couple of months of the year.

They already have Hughesy for that slot. Wednesday would have been a good night for The Cheap Seats but it would clash with Shaun Micallef/Charlie Pickering.

I agree. This and Gogglebox could fill the slot all year round. Maybe they can move it there next year.

Surely that’s not returning. It shouldn’t.

The hosts are looking very relaxed tonight as they get more familiar with the format. Seems less scripted. Even the entertainment segment was good.

Very funny again tonight.

They are definitely settled and helps that they have gotten rid of the awkward camera cuts. I love the show and even starting to like Titus! Only things I find annoying is when they use jokes or grabs that have been featured on HYBPA the night before.

The “guest on the desk” was a good addition last week. Tomorrow:
