A cracker of an episode last night. My favourite show of the year so far.
I think the NZ segment is done to appeal to the audience in NZ , as I read they have sold the show overseas already.
Yes and Titus wasnât as flat and boring as last week
Itâs funny but I feel like its over scripted. It seems like its not off the cuff commentary but they have to hit that joke. Tim might adlib because he seems to always need to top Melâs jokes and some will hit but a lot will miss. Tim could easily host it by himself and commentate like Daniel Tosh or even Ed Kavaleeâs old show âTV Burpâ so it needs to be a bit more cohesive and figure out what it is and give equal time to both hosts. Itâs a shame they donât have a proper live audience to give it a more atmosphere.
I have not seen the latest episode. On another forum someone was saying they hated the canned laughter⌠i thought they still had the crew in the audience.
No canned laughter, it is the crew, best new show on linear TV this year!
Should pick up an audience once the Olympics conclude. Was in a tough spot last night against the team sports which were epic games.
Tokyo Olympics boxing bronze medallist Harry Garside was special guest tonight, from hotel quarantine in Brisbane.
The program also invited 24 Australian and NZ athletes (who competed in Tokyo) to share their experience in quarantine.
Well that explains how Tim got on HYBPA with no credits. He worked for Working Dog for 6 years. Still think heâs probably someoneâs family member.
I think Tim is great.
Eliminated Survivor contestant Kerryn âKezâ McGee is special guest this week.
Based on that first segment⌠I reckon they could do the whole show just showing Alan Jones clips and it would be hilarious.
This show is basically just calling out how bad the Australian media is lol
Very funny tonight again.
Massive fan of this show. My only concern is that I feel like on Tuesday night it is too close to HYBPA. The humor is very similar and I feel the show would benefit from a bigger gap.
So like Mad as Hell but with younger comedians and no sketches⌠kind of.
The old The Panel slot on Thursday nights would be good and #justforthenostalgia (@anon17157706 that ones for you )
and a bit of TV Burp
